A couple of music lovers from Montreal and Toronto wanted to create a portal to help indie bands get their music heard. Staying true to their purpose, TuneCrank keeps it simple and focusses on the tunes. A free site that anyone can join, TuneCrank allows bands to upload tracks, vote on tunes and have a shot at reaching the top of the CrankRank.
The Skinny
The essentials first: I'm a designer / programmer / producer based in Seattle WA, with an MFA in Design & Technology and around 10 years in design, development and branding. More interestingly: In most cases I think less is more. I'm slightly obsessed with details, and also with productivity software [read: lists]. My best work comes when there's good [loud, often classical] music, I'm loyal to Puma when it comes to sneakers, et je parle un petit peu du français.
